Poem 2: four minute mercy

I saw a spider, white-tail
Looked him in the eye
Imagined dreadful poison
If it bit
I took a scrap and heavy thing
Silenced my empty empathy
And slammed
With all the vengeance of my future-not-to-be

  1. Ouch! Fantastic! Love ’empty empathy’. Empty Empathy sat on a wall, Empty Empathy dispassionately watched all the kings horses and all the kings men go by before getting down and going home.
